Anthony Kondash is CVCC Student of the Year for 2026.

Cuyahoga Heights High School senior Anthony Kondash has been named Student of the Year across all programs for the Cuyahoga Valley Career Center  (CVCC). One of the highest honors awarded by the CVCC, this prestigious recognition celebrates Anthony’s outstanding leadership, dedication, professionalism, and commitment to excellence throughout his career-technical education experience.

A student in the Heating and Air Conditioning (HVAC) program, Anthony accumulated a number of accomplishments at the CVCC. He earned two years perfect attendance, was inducted into the National Technical Honor Society, was named an Outstanding Student in the HVAC program and earned a scholarship. He also participated in Work-based Learning, a program in which, in place of attending classes, students work in a paid position directly related to their field, gaining valuable, on-the-job work experience. Anthony’s strong work ethic and positive attitude have made him a standout student both in and out of the classroom. Congratulations to Anthony on this incredible achievement!

This is the second year in a row that a Cuyahoga Heights High School student was named Outstanding Student of the Year. Last year, Emilee Sanicky, a student in the Certified Nurse Assistant program (Health Careers program), won the award.
