Senior Citizens at Baloon Arch.

Approximately 50 senior citizens from Brooklyn Heights, Valley View, and Cuyahoga Heights enjoyed the Senior Citizens Winter Concert and Luncheon held on December 16.

Hosted by the Class of 2027 in the North Gymnasium, guests enjoyed a delicious lunch of chicken salad, egg salad, and ham salad croissants, potato chips, a vegetable tray, and holiday cookies provided by staff members. The student volunteers also took photos of their guests amid a balloon arch.

Entertainment was provided by the Cuyahoga Heights High School Orchestra, Chorale group, Scarlet Angels, and Concert Band under the direction of teachers Noah Hamrick and Grace Brown.  The students performed an assortment of Christmas Carols and other seasonal favorites in the Paul L. Baumgardner Auditorium.

Details are still being finalized for senior citizens to attend a dress rehearsal of this year’s high school musical performance of “The Wizard of Oz”. Instructions on how to make a reservation to attend will be sent to the three communities that compose the school district in February 2025.
