Disco Dance A Fitting Finish for Spirited Week of Homecoming Festivities

Spirit Week –September 12-16 – was filled with fun and festivities as both students and staff prepared for Homecoming 2022.  Each day  of the week had a theme.  Monday was Pajama Day–come dressed in your P.J.’s.Tuesday was Tie Dye–incorporate your favorite tie-dye apparel into your outfit.  Wednesday was Music Genres Day – wear something that reflects your favorite music.  Thursday was Neon-Out Day–wear something flashy and bright.and Friday was Color Rush Day where each grade level wore their assigned color.

The l Homecoming Court included Sierra Wise, Hyatt Taylor, Julia Bardzilauskas, Nate Biggers, Jaden Figard, Eli Walton, Jacob Stewart, Grace Lasky, Noah Wilson, and Natalie Mischak. A pep rally at the end of the day on Friday set the stage for announcing the Queen Natalie Mischak and King Noah Wilson.

That evening, the Varsity football team played Trinity High School at Cuyahoga Heights’ Ralph P. Adams Stadium.  The cheerleaders, Mighty Marching Band, and Red Rubies Drill Team added to the excitement of the game.  The Red Wolves bested the Trinity Trojans with a final score of 17 to 0.

High school students enjoyed the Homecoming Dance on the evening of September 17. The affair, which had a disco theme, took place in the school cafeteria.
