Cuyahoga Valley Career Center Seniors Recognized

Cuyahoga Heights High School (CHHS) seniors enrolled in programs at the Cuyahoga Valley Career Center (CVCC) took front and center during Senior Recognition Night held on May 10. This annual event recognizes and celebrates the accomplishments of the Senior Class.

Several  CHHS students were singled out for outstanding performance in their respective programs.  They are as follows: 

  • Zach Bernstein  –  Outstanding Student, Building & Property Maintenance 
  • Joshua Sanicky- Outstanding Student, Electrical Systems
  • Maddie Krzynowek - Outstanding Student, Cosmetology B;
  • Alexis (Lexi) Baciak -- Outstanding Student, Dental Assisting
  • Dustin Kattler – Outstanding Student Fire and EMS Academy.

In addition, Sanicky was recognized for having two years of perfect attendance. Kryznowek also received a $1,000 CVCC Endowment Scholarship which she can use toward higher education or to further her career goals. Finally, Fiona Navarra, an adult student who graduated last year from CHHS, was named Outstanding Senior, Digital Design. She was also named Student of the Year by a committee of CVCC instructors, in recognition of her accomplishments and growth during her time at CVCC.
