Cuyahoga Heights Elementary School (CHES)  has been selected for the 2022 Best of Cleveland award in the education category by the Cleveland Award Program. The award recognizes CHES for enhancing the positive image of small business through service to their customers and the community.  “These exceptional companies help make the Cleveland area a great place to live, work and play,” according to a statement from the awards program. Each honoree received a plaque commemorating their award.“

I am very excited that our school has been selected to receive this recognition,” said Principal Joy Houchen.  “The plaque is located in our elementary school office as a reminder to all students and staff that their hard work and dedication to the community is valued and appreciated by others.”

The mission of the Cleveland Award Program is to recognize the small business community’s contributions to the economy.  As such, the annual program works with local business owners, trade groups, professional associations, and other business groups to honor the achievements and accomplishments of local businesses throughout the Cleveland area. Recognition is given to those companies and organizations that have demonstrated their use of best practices and implemented programs to generate competitive advantages and long-term value to the community.
