Scarlet Angels Perform in Columbus

Nine members of Cuyahoga Heights High School’s Scarlet Angels entertained attendees at the Capital Conference’s Student Achievement Fair in Columbus, Ohio on Monday, November 8.  Among the selections they performed were Abba’s “SOS,” the Mamas and the Papa “California Dreamin,’” traditional Irish folk song “Danny Boy,” and “Lollipop” by the Chordettes.

“They did a phenomenal job,” said Instrumental and Vocal Music Instructor Mary Schroeder. The students were presented with a plaque commemorating their appearance at this year’s event. 

The Ohio School Boards Association Capital Conference is one of the nation’s premier education conventions that brings together educators from across Ohio to learn, network, and share ideas to address challenges in public education. Highlights of the three-day conference include the Student Achievement Fair which boasts innovative student programs, art work, and top student entertainment groups.
