Board of Education Recognizes October Students of the Month

Cuyahoga Heights Elementary School (CHES) Principal Joy Houchen is pleased to recognize two fourth-grade students for October: Madison Rabant and Logan Beno. 

“Madison is always trying her best and working hard in every class,” notes Mrs. Houchen.  “She actively participates in class and is engaged in the lessons. She is respectful and kind to both her peers and teachers. We know that she will come to each class ready to learn and with a positive attitude. She is always willing to help those around her.  Madison sets a wonderful example for the other students and we are so happy to have her as our fourth grade Student of the Month.”  Madison is the daughter of Nicole Gabor. 

Mrs. Houchen also recognized Logan Beno. “Logan comes to school with a positive attitude and puts forth a strong effort in all of his classes,” she said. “He is always up for a challenge and loves to try new things. He works well independently and utilizes his time wisely. He asks questions and wants to do his best. Logan is a role model for the other students and we also are glad to have him as our Student of the Month.” Logan is the son of Sarah and Phil Beno.

Mike Janatovich, principal of Cuyahoga Heights Middle and High Schools, also recognized students of the Month for October. They are: 

Grade 6: Emma Gasper. Emma is the daughter of Janice and John Stepka .

Grade 7: Kurtis Van Divner. Kurtis is the son of  Shana Chilinski and Tracy Van Divner .

Grade 8: Ayden Archazki. Ayden is the son of Monica and Mark Archazki.

Grade 9: Joseph Shay. Joseph is the son of Sylvia and Joe Shay.

Grade 10: Maddox Jones. Maddox is the son of Denise and Scott Jones.

Grade 11: Diya Patel, Diya is the son of Mahisha and Hitesh Patel.

Grade 12: Lily Frank. Lily is the daughter of Tricia and Aaron Frank Lily.

The Student of the Month program provides the opportunity to recognize students for their  citizenship, volunteerism, improvement, academics, leadership, school spirit or other outstanding qualities. October’s Students of the Month were recognized at the October 20th Board of Education meeting and those in attendance were presented with a certificate.
